happy birthday to me!!!

I had such a fun birthday!!! It started at around midnight when Emily knocked on my door wishing me a happy b-day, and then Jessica came to my door with some random story about having to go to Emily's room (of course I believed her cuz I'm so gullible) and then they surprised me! It was Emily, Jessica, Julie, and Mary Lou. Em played the happy birthday song and Jessica and Em start dancing! And they got me a present! I got some lotion and bath gel, nailpolish, a bracelet, and this eye thing you put in the fridge and rest on your eyes so they don't get puffy. It was so exciting and made me feel loved!!! Then I was walking back to my room and I hear Jessica yelling at me to turn around but it was too late...I saw Nisha (my roommate) putting up a big banner. I turned around anyway and gave her a few minutes then went to read the poster. It was so cool and like everyone signed it! Even people I wouldn't expect signed it! I really felt special :D So the rest of the night I wrote my sociology paper and everyone stopped by to give me b-day wishes. Then I went to bed.

I spent the day in Sociology class, eating lunch, taking a shower, in Math class, bought a new toothbrush (which reminds me that I wore the new outfit I bought for myself yesterday with all my Michigan gear...go blue!), working and tutoring. Work wasn't hard tonight for the first time ever cuz it was a special thanksgiving dinner night and not many people ate salad! Yes!!! Then I watched the Bachelor finale in Emily's room and got ice cream and chips with Sarah (our RA). I felt bad cuz it's my time of the month and I was sitting in Mary Lou's tan chair, and definitely left a spot :( She was mad (tried to cover it up) but I washed it out so I think she's ok. I felt bad. Anyway, then I was invited with Mary, Ann, and Lauren to go to a jazz thing that the Alpha's held. We all got really dressed up and Chay, Dom, and Matt came along. When we got to the club we found out it was cancelled so we went to the Union to play pool but it was closed so then we went to Pizza House and had some food and came back.

Also...my little bro got me the new Jay-Z album ("The Black Album") and Nisha (my roomie) got me Britney's new "In the Zone" CD!!! Aaaaah!!!! I'm soooo excited! I just finished it and it was so good! And Gabe gave me a precious stone (although I wasn't in the room so I have to catch him tomorrow) and it's soo pretty! That really meant a lot to me. And my mom and dad both called me and left messages!!! So I was really excited! My mom sang; she's sooo cute!

Well that's my birthday rundown for the night! It was really a lot of fun! And tomorrow I'm going to have lots of fun too so this whole weekend is just looking really good! Hope everyone is enjoying their week!!

P.S. Forgot to tell those who are curious...I am now 18 and officially an adult! Whoo hooo!!! :D
