hey, look who's back?

well it sure has been a while since i've been here, huh? it's been so long that d-land has moved to a new server and my diary is chillin' in cyberspace for a good minute. oh well, i'll update anyway :-Pso...since i can't read my last entry, i don't exactly remember where i left off...but i do believe it was before winter break. so that's where i'll start.
i had an all right break. Christmas was really nice; i enjoyed spending time with everyone and it was a chill day (which i love!) then my bro and dad and i went off to California to LA. i really like LA, although i can't decide which i like better btwn LA and NYC, but i'm workin' on it. we stayed in a hotel and drove around for a few days. i got a new digital camera for Christmas so i was takin' some pics. let's see...what did we visit? my family, venice beach (loved it there!), garma district (shopping for little $$$), drove through beverly hills (hard to see the homes cuz most were gated up with lots of greenery), drove down hollywood blvd., went on a search to find the hollywood sign, went shopping in some big mall, walked down rodeo drive and window shopped, and all that good stuff. if i had my camera with me right now i'd be able to remember it exactly.
my friend emily joined us on our beverly hills day. she flew out to spend a day with us cuz the main reason we went to LA was to go to the Rose Bowl game!
now i know most of ya'll know the score...Michigan lost to Texas by one point :( but it was still a really good game and i'm glad i got to have that experience. the Texas fans were really nice and our fans were kinda a-holes, so that made me feel bad. but the game was entertaining and exciting. we also went to the Rose Bowl parade which was really cool! all those floats are made out of roses and they're sooooo pretty! i also saw the cast of 7th Heaven and Clay Aiken :) once i finally get my camera hooked up to my computer, i'll try and show ya'll the pics.
other than all the fun sightseeing, the rest of the trip wasn't the greatest cuz my dad and i really didn't get along. it's sad cuz it put a damper in both of our experiences, but we just fought a lot and had a miserable time together. so i guess that shows me that i won't be taking vacations with my family anymore (maybe my mom but we'll see).
hm...other than that i'm back at school now. i'm extremely busy this semester so that's why my updating has sucked. i like my classes so far, so that's good. oh! i got accepted to be an RA next year :) yay!
ok well i'm in class and this is getting boring (sorry) so i'm gonna go. i'll try and update at least every friday cuz i have class in the computer lab. hope everyone is doing well! love and miss ya'll!
