home at last

*i wrote this yesterday*I'm finally home! I spent 6 hours in the DTW airport (my fault for buying too early of an airbus ticket). I've decided that I like the way DTW is set up out of all the airports I've been in. It's even nicer than LAX and Reagan (which isn't really nice at all surprisingly). O'Hare is pretty nice, but a bit more confusing than DTW. I can't remember what Dulles looks like cuz I've only been in it once, so I need to see it again.
Anyway, I only ran into 2 greek people, an Alpha and a Delta (I only mention this cuz I wore my SGRho jacket). Oh!!! So I was definitely sitting across from a adult man wearing Uggs.....what?!?!? I might have let it slide a little if he were my age, but clearly he's the age of a father and a dentist and what not.....so I dunno what was going on with him and his fashion sense....
My mom got us lost in Alexandria. We were trying to find the VRE station and she forgot where it was, so we're running around in the dark crossing all these streets until we ask someone only to realize it was next to the Metro station that we had got off of to begin with. So we ran back over there just in time to miss the train. Hahahaha, it was fun though. We ate ice cream (yay!) and caught the next one.
I came home to a wonderful surprise....my little brother has lost weight!!! Oh my goodness I was so surprised! He looks really good now He joined the track team so he's been running every day. It actually is motivating me a bit, now that I'm seeing the results in front of my eyes. I just wish I didn't have to run...I really don't like it. I am taking a dance class next semester though so hopefully that will help me. I'm proud of him though.
Um...I think that's about it. I'm getting ready to enjoy a week of movie watching since I don't have homework. I also want to make a scrapbook and I have some planning for next semester activities to do. But overall, it should be a relaxing break. And Christmas is in 2 days!!!! *smiles*
